My parents ped away and I'm cleaning out their things. Why does my puppy hate people?

I adopted a Siberian Husky/Great Pyrenees hybrid a few weeks ago. She was born on Christmas day, so she isn't that old yet. She absolutely HATES all people. If they are strangers she hides in her cave (under the porch) and sometimes pokes her head out and barks at them. If we are all inside and there are strangers she steers clear of them and occasionally barks. She is okay with us but doesn't come when we call like most puppies, she doesn't want to play with us, she doesn't want us to pet her or love on her. It's very hard to train her where to go potty, to sit, etc because of her attitude towards people. We own a Great Pyrenees male and he LOVES all people. He will guard the house if we are not outside to greet guests but he is not scared of them, he doesn't hide, he doesn't bark at them... he'll just growl and keep them out of the gate. We've owned a husky before and he loved all people as well. He greeted everyone with a wagging tail and happy go lucky personality. I contacted the breeder and she said that Alu (my puppy) was ALWAYS like that... she has always been standoffish, scared, barky towards all people. The breeder said all the other puppies had the personalities like both breeds (loving, aloof, not weary of people/strangers). So... why is she like this? I got another dog (puppy) because my Great Pyrenees is getting really old, has hip dysplasia and just isn't going to live much longer. So, I wanted a puppy to replace him when he pes. We take our dog on hiking trips, road trips, shopping, to petsmart, to the dog park, etc... she doesn't like going because she hates people. She won't learn to walk on a leash because she has no reason to want to walk with us... she'd rather stay in her cave. We want her to be an indoor dog, like our other, but she refuses to come inside unless we go pick her up and carry her inside... HELP! Is there anyway to fix this behavior/personality? Will she be like this forever?!?

I've never played Q3, but I've played Q1, Q2, Q4, and most of the dooms. The name coloring comes from typing "^9DarkWolf" to have DarkWolf show up as Black. I don't have the color codes handy, but you can play around with them. Clans are people who play the same game that like to compete against other people. You can start your own or try out for one. The grapple is probably a bind. I don't know if it has the grapple, but Q2 had a mod so that you could grapple but before you could use it, you have to bind it to a key. Mods are to be downloaded and unzipped where told, usually in the readme file. From there, load up Q3, and then there should be a mod section in the main menu to load a mod. Hope this helps.

I recently bought a Gateway laptop, with an Alltel air card. Here's my problem: my computer takes an excessive amount of time to do anything, from pulling up e mail, loading a video, or just initially loading when turned on. Also, all the graphics on the monitor are fuzzy. I delete my cookies everyday and am confident that it does not have a virus of any sort. I'm just not sure if it is an issue with the settings or the air card or a combination of both. I do not think it is the area I'm in as there have been labtops used here before. I'm temporarily totally disabled so I can't check other areas to see if that is the issue. Healthy diet is causing gas?

For the past 3-4 months I have totally switched my diet to a completely healthy one. I now always eat the minimum of every food group, try to eat organic whenever possible for me, and eat only whole grain foods. I might have something not-so-healthy every week or so and a Mountain Dew every couple of weeks, but other than that I am trying to make sure everything I am putting into my body is healthy. Ever since I started this diet, I have had the gas from Hell!! I started taking fiber supplements once a day and I thought maybe I was getting too much fiber, but I have stopped that for a few weeks now and still no change. Is there anything I can do or take naturally to curb this, aside from popping Beano like they're Skittles? I'd really like to avoid any medications, but my last resort is Gas-X.

It is suppose to happen, just what are you gonna do to make it stop. You must get rid of ADD. Then you will be able to choose to act correcty when the anxiety comes, and the anxiety will go away. Good answer, eh. Atleast it is alright. lol. BTW, I have been taking this medicine for a year now. I take concerta, lexapro, and now abilify too (partly, to give me my appetite back). You may want to take medicine. You probably have ADD in addition to your anxiety. If not, just get over your anxiety, use your mind and don't forget about morals. People can be mean, it sucks. Also you can do things that aren't right, and your conscense gives you the anxiety (ADD makes you not do what is right (what you are suppose to do (paying attenetion to something) (doind something that you should do) (blah,blah,blah). This is what happens. Just use your mind, and you may need ADD medicine. I'd like to say I support you, but I don't know you, or talk to you, so how could I support you. I'll just say good luck. Oh, and know that everyone wants to be nice. People being mean can actually be caused by their own anxiety (it can end up being a visious circle). Two periods in one month?

I'm a scoprio girl who has a real interest in this leo guy, but our intense agruements gives me such a headache and heartache. I need advice about what to do with my boyfriend?

He committed to a family get together this holiday because he lives 45 minutes away from my family. We are having a huge get together and a big dinner one night. Have you ever had a problem with a horse and vet couldnt do anything and you used a home remedy that worked?

i mean any thingh like for example i had a horse that had warts and i used a solutuion the one of you's give me and it worked. i had been to vet and he said leave it should hopefully go away in bout 8-9 mths. i used 1 teaspoon of iodine and 3 tablespoons of bacon grease mix and rub in to wart using a glove. leave do nothing else just do this once and in 6 weeks they was nothing there, it was like it sufficated them and they fell off. so if you have ever had a problem with a horse and vet couldnt do anythinbg and you used a home remedy that worked no matter how weird it was tell me, BUT ONLY TELL ME ONES THAT YOU HAVE USED THAT WORKED. it can be anything from head to hoof, anything that you used a home remedy and it worked. thanks in advance

When i put my central heating on my boiler fires up for about 5 minutes then stops.?

I only had Bible cl every day for 4 years of high school (plus chapel services every Wednesday and church every Sunday). I'm a new teacher with no friends in my department. Is this normal?

I am beginning my second year as a middle school teacher. I was a substitute teacher in this school for 4 years. For me, the hardest thing about teaching has had nothing to do with the kids. I have found that my grade level, and especially my department, are very "cliquish". Most seem to have established friendships. They do not include me and are not very willing to share teaching ideas with me either. I replaced a popular teacher that retired, and some of them seem to resent my being here, and have tried to undermine me at every opportunity.For the most part I don't have any trouble with the older teachers- except one in particular who is very rude to me. Perhaps they will never see me as being anything other than a substitute teacher.For example, i say good morning to her in the hallway and she doesn't even acknowledge me. And anytime I say something in a dept. meeting she has a snide remark to make about it. I love the kids i teach but I am fed up with the teachers. Any advice on what I can do to feel like I belong? Or to at least make the situation bearable? Even when I did observations and the practi internship prior to being hired, i found the department staff was very cold to me. My closest friends in the school are in the language department (a different department), so now I spend lunch in their break room. I know teaching can be a lonely profession and this is no help! What shocks me is the amount of gossip, back stabbing and pettiness. I have tried to be outgoing and friendly, but all I get back is nastiness. A friend suggested I keep my coworkers as that: just coworkers, and keep friendship to people I meet outside of work. The thing is, i don't' want to be as cold and unfriendly as the teachers in my department.

I went to Syria in Gr. 9 for the first time ever and I met the guy that wants my hand in marriage (my cousin 3 years older then me ; ps I don't mind because culture and Islam are more important to me and no it is not true kids will be born defective because studies show that the chances are very insignificant ), my parents said yes only when I get older if a man has still not approaced my parents, obviously my parents want me to get married to the best guy possible so if I got engaged that time then I would have not been given the chance to meet other good men. I am now going to Gr. 12 and I think the feeling was always there but I was never fully able to know, but I really really do miss him, I can't help it. During the time I was in Syria, he was always very kind and respectful I remember one time I was really upset and all he wanted to do was cheer me up, when I was leaving Syria I was crying because I was going to miss everyone and he was right there faking that everything will be fine , making jokes in attempt to cheer me up. It's been so long and I still have to wait longer and I will not be going till Ramadan and Eid are during the summer by then I will be done first year university. Why is my nose runny when I get up in the morning but I am not sick?

For the last year and half, I have been congested especially in the morning as if I am running a fever or sick, but I am not sick. Every time I get up in the morning, within in a minute or so my nostril fills with clear mucus and little bit of boogers, which forces me to sneeze wildly. At that point, I run to the bathroom to expel it. What's amazing is that I usually expel a lots of mucus. If I don't have mucus in my nose, my nose is usually filled with a lots of dried up boogers that I spend hours digging them out and they are usually very big and chunky. Obviously, I don't see anything in them, although I used to see blood while back but not anymore. I hate this. I never ever felt this way. I hope I don't have worms in my large intestine that's causing my body to bloat and makes me fart a lot and filling my nose with mucus. Apparently, my body is trying to expel something foreign in my body but what.

There are so many kids that sit by themselves at recess and lunch-time every day at school. Would it be a good idea to create a group that kids could join at lunchtime? Sorry, since I'm a pretty stupid person. I've got no idea about studying, What to do, or how to do it. The internet is a vast source of information as I skimmed through many resources, it gave me important ideas about reviewing and rephrasing it. However, I feel like I'm missing something. Isn't studying a bit more complicated? I have a short attention span and I find myself pacing back and forth as I can never concentrate on my work long enough, instead I'm always letting my imagination lead me. I always finding myself pacing back and forth. plus with all the tips i read I'm a bit on the confused standing point. To sum it up, how should a person study? Is there some kind of useful study routine? It'd be nice it you could advise me how to to concentrate or tell me how to increase my attention span and a way to stop pacing around and being unproductive? In addition could you give me some other tips or factor that would help me. (diet, exercise, organization, music...etc.) or how to memorize things easier. So it there a method to study?

To the first answer, I will be honest, I probably would use as much energy as Gore. But, the difference is that I would not fly around the world preaching a false mantra while living completly opposite of that way. If a vegetarian flew around the world telling us how bad meat is and that we need to cut back, wouldn't it be silly if that person was then found to be eating hamburgers and steaks? That is why this is an issue, not that I am envious of Mr. Gore.

A Friend Wants To Know What Does This Mean?

A friend of mine told a girl that he liked her. then she ignored him for over a month and a half. it got annoying cause he kept telling me all his problems so today he spent the whole day on his phones notepad and wrote about a page and a half about how he feels about her. He asked her why she was ignored him and what was going on. she said that she ignored him because she thought he was mad at her. But I know that's a bunch of BS because its hard to not hear someone when there calling your name standing a few feet behind you. Today he gave her the note, not sent it but showed her the phone and made her read off of it. What else are you supposed to do when you have 1000 words to say, sucky handwriting, and she has no phone. so later meaning a couple hours ago we found out she immediately went into the restroom and started crying. I read the note after I found out and found nothing offensive. The english teacher read the note and he found nothing offensive aside from the grammatical errors. My friends question is why is she crying. What does it mean. should he give her another long note explaining himself or what.

So I'm going into 9th grade and my best throw is 79 feet and 1 inch. I made it to the semifinals in my district meet but only the top 5 from all the middle schools in the district qualify - I placed sixth. But the top 5 throwers threw 100+ feet so the gap between fifth and sixth (Me) was pretty big. So when I found out that some of my friends had 6th period athletics on their high school schedules, I asked them what it was and it turned out that you come during the summer and you practice for the sport in the summer and during 6th period in high school.. I knew about that but I only thought is was for football and I went on a vacation that i didn't want to go on during the summer. So I have have regular PE just like everybody else... So after watching the olympics I thought it was about time I do something... So I asked my mom to buy me a discus and I could practice on my own so I can make the high school team... She said no. Why? I'll hit someone in the head and I have no cage or something similar. I have this park nearby and barely anyone is ever there and it is pretty big and has wide open space. So the chances of me hitting someone or something aren't that great. I'll try to convince her again. But I'm really inspired by the olympics and my cousin who is nationally ranked in egypt for Judo and won fourth place in an international tournament in Japan two years ago. And I dont know how to find a local travel team or club.. What should I do?

How do you add flavor to Tofu?

It depends on if you are going to drop the tofu in and immediately eat the curry or if you are willing to let it all sit and heat together. The tofu will absorb the flavor of the dish, but it takes time. The longer you let any dish sit and stew, so to speak, the more the flavors will meld. If you are going to eat the dish immediately then I would mix up my spices and liquids and marinade the tofu for at least 1 hr to 3 hrs before adding to the dish.
