Have you ever had a problem with a horse and vet couldnt do anything and you used a home remedy that worked?

i mean any thingh like for example i had a horse that had warts and i used a solutuion the one of you's give me and it worked. i had been to vet and he said leave it should hopefully go away in bout 8-9 mths. i used 1 teaspoon of iodine and 3 tablespoons of bacon grease mix and rub in to wart using a glove. leave do nothing else just do this once and in 6 weeks they was nothing there, it was like it sufficated them and they fell off. so if you have ever had a problem with a horse and vet couldnt do anythinbg and you used a home remedy that worked no matter how weird it was tell me, BUT ONLY TELL ME ONES THAT YOU HAVE USED THAT WORKED. it can be anything from head to hoof, anything that you used a home remedy and it worked. thanks in advance
