Looking for a kids bedtime song with animal noises, from a movie with a Quaid (I think)?

I was watching a movie on T.V, the movie was from the 70's or 80's with dennis quaid (i think) in one scene he was putting a child to bed, singing and playing guitar, the song had lots of animal noises. I would like to learn this song for my kids. Please help if you can.
