My 3 month gold xbox live membership card isn't working?

Ok. So for a while now my mom has been using her credit card to pay for my xbox live gold account. She pays it monthly (month-to-month) but now she has no more money on the card nd it is suspened. Now this isn't the 1st time becuz there was another time the account was suspended but I think she put money on the card nd it started to work. So anyways now, Im going back to the prepaid cards nd Im trying to enter my 3 month gold membership card bd it keeps saying, "Can't retrieve information from Xbox Live. Please try again later." And then it says, Status code: 80169D3A , Plz try to help me.
