Does anybody know more about this virus they're using to power batteries?

The viruses aren't used to power batteries - they are used as template or scaffold to manufacture very small batteries efficiently. The energy to charge the battery still has to come from somewhere else, but given that many application are limited by battery technology this still seems to be a very clever idea. However, they haven't been able to make batteries better than currently available ones ... yet.
